The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra invites applications for Violin 1, tutti

The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra invites applications for 1st Violin Tutti. The audition will take place 8-9 June 2026, at Konserthuset Stockholm by personal invitation.

Digital pre-round – required repetoire

  • Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Violin Concerto No. 3, 4, or 5: first movement until the cut as written in the attached booklet without cadenza
  • Strauss Don Juan (violin I excerpt, see booklet)

Former or current students at The Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra Academy are automatically qualified for the live audition and therefore do not need to submit a video. If this applies to you, please inform us by email at auditions@konserthuset.se

Invitations to the audition will be sent out on 27 April 2026

Candidates who reach the final round may be considered for future tutti vacancies within the 1st violin section.
