Martyna Kaszkowiak

Member of the second violin section since 2024.

Martyna Kaszkowiak completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the Krzysztof Penderecki Academy of Music in Kraków, where she studied with Professor Wiesław Kwaśny. During her studies she won prizes at numerous national and international competitions as a soloist, and received 2nd prize at the International Chamber Music Competition KraCamera in Kraków (2021) with the Arbor String Quartet. As a soloist she has collaborated with several orchestras in Poland.

She has taken part in masterclasses with distinguished artists including Zakhar Bron, Krzysztof Śmietana, Wanda Wiłkomirska, Remus Azoitei, Alexander Sitkovetsky, Ilya Kaler and Linus Roth. As a member of the European Union Youth Orchestra (2017–19) she worked with conductors such as Gianandrea Noseda, Manfred Honeck and Vasily Petrenko, and performed at major international festivals including the BBC Proms in London.

In 2022 she participated in the Pacific Music Festival in Sapporo, Japan, working with conductors Ken-David Masur and Lahav Shani and performing at venues including Suntory Hall in Tokyo. In 2023 she completed a two-year programme at the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra Academy.
