Are you between 15 and 21 and curious about classical music – or just curious in general?
Did you know that Konserthuset has a Youth Council? It brings together young people to discover the world of music from the inside – while also having a say in how Konserthuset develops.
You don’t need to play an instrument or know all about classical music – what really counts is your curiosity and interest!
You’ll attend concerts, meet musicians from the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, connect with soloists and conductors, and discover everything going on behind the scenes. Most importantly – we want to hear your ideas, questions and perspectives.
You bring the energy, we bring the experience – and we grow together.
The Youth Council meets at Konserthuset several times during the concert season. The Council itself decides what to focus on in activities such as workshops, themed evenings and meetings. Its members decide what they would like to see more of, highlight or change.
And this is just the beginning. A new council is formed each season – and hopefully many of you will stay connected with Konserthuset in new ways even after your year is over.
